Absolutely! Our Nd:YAG 1064nm laser is specifically designed to be safe and effective across all Fitzpatrick skin types (I to VI), including darker skin tones. Unlike older IPL or Alexandrite lasers, the Nd:YAG wavelength is the gold standard for darker skin.
Most clients see excellent results in 6 to 10 sessions, depending on the area, hair thickness, and your individual hair growth cycle. Sessions are typically spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart. We offer x6 and x10 session packages at our best-value prices.
Most clients describe it as a mild warm snapping sensation, very manageable. Our Polaris Medical machine includes a cooling system to keep you comfortable throughout. Many clients find it much less uncomfortable than waxing!
Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid sun exposure, fake tan, and any waxing or plucking for at least 4 weeks before treatment. Come with clean skin, no moisturiser or deodorant on the treatment day.
